Don’t let Ford’s Conservatives silence parents

The Ford government is creating a two-person “advisory board” to review EQAO scores.

Neither of the appointees have any public school teaching experience. What they do have is experience in pushing for private and charter schools. How can we trust them to do what’s best for our kids?

There are better ways to measure educational outcomes and support students. The Ford government needs to listen to parents and educators, put more funding into the classroom – and leave assessments to teachers who know their students best.
