Ontario's funding formula is shortchanging students

The current provincial funding formula is forcing cuts to programs like English as a Second Language, art, music and library services, and the closure of community-based schools. Today, funding for special education has no direct link to individual students’ needs. Elementary school students are profoundly impacted, when funding decisions are made using a top-down, bottom-line approach.
